こちらは金継ぎ教室の生徒さんの私物で、江戸時代の香合です。
すでに化学樹脂で修復がされていたので、古来の方法でやり直したいとのことでした。
化学樹脂の部分はすべて削り、いま耳を形成中です。
土と漆を混ぜたもので、少しずつ土台を形成しますが、この作業を４回～５回ほど繰り替えしていきます。
土台を形成し終えたら、耳の形に研ぎ出し、漆でコーティングをします。
100年前のものを修復させていただく、なんとも贅沢なひとときです。
This is the old incense of the student in the Kintsugi classroom.
It was already repaired with chemical resin, she wanted to do it again in ancient way.
We shaved off all parts of chemical resin and formed ears.
It mixes soil and lacquer and forms a foundation little by little, but this work is repeated 4 to 5 times.
After forming the foundation, make the ear shape and coat it with lacquer.
It is a luxurious moment that restore things 100 years ago.
