40年以上にわたり神社、寺院、美術品などの文化財修復にたずさわる。その技術を活かし、建築、仏像、漆器、アンティーク家具、古美術品などを、身近に存在する自然素材を生かし、日本古来の伝統的技法によって修復。金継ぎ教室・漆芸教室通じて日本文化を広めている。

HIROKI  KIYOKAWA 

Hiroki Kiyokawa has been involved with the restoration of cultural properties from shrines and temples for over 40 years. With those skills and making good use of natural ingredients found close by, he makes restorations on buildings, Buddhist statues, lacquerware, antique furniture and old artworks, all with ancient traditional Japanese methods. He promotes Japanese culture through his kintsugi and shitsugei workshops.
